Working with Education providers

As the largest provider of Bikeability in the country we have worked in many of Irelands schools, training many thousands of children of all ages. But that’s not all; here is just a quick overview of our breadth of experience in the education sector:

Pre-school and nursery – our Pre-Pedal courses for both pre-school and Key Stage 1 children prove very popular with children and staff alike. With train the trainer modules and inclusive equipment packages Pre-Pedal provides a one stop solution of early years cycling.

Primary and junior – As well as Bikeability Level 1 and 2 we also run maintenance courses, skills sessions and indoor training with both Key Stage 1 and 2 children

Secondary schools and academies – Bikeability is now permeating up to secondary Key Stage 3 establishments with Level 3 on-road training proving popular as schools look to promote healthy lifestyles and sustainable travel.

FE and sixth form colleges – Our relationship with Ballyhoura Mountain biking skills courses and portable skills loop sessions make ideal education enrichment activities, giving a much needed distraction and a way to recharge tired minds as exams loom!

Universities – We have worked with many higher education institutions across the Ireland, providing road shows, cycle training, cycling promotional presentations and procuring pool and fleet bikes and equipment.
